Dr. Robert Piloto is the Medical Director at the Huizenga Executive Health Department, Cleveland Clinic, Florida. Dr. Piloto received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida in in 1997 and went on to obtain his medical degree at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic in 2003. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic, Florida in 2006 and subsequently became a Staff Physician in the Internal Medicine Department at the same institution.
Dr. Piloto has been board certified as an Internal Medicine Physician since 2003 and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians since 2017. His main interests are in general prevention of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
Working as a Staff Physician in the Huizenga Executive Health Department has given Dr. Piloto the opportunity to promote and practice preventative health medicine and life-improving counselling to encourage healthier lifestyles for his patients. He works daily with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical care to local, domestic and international patients as well as other Cleveland Clinic staff physicians, Cleveland Clinic administrators and large corporations.
